Bircher muesli from Switzerland

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 8 tbsp oat flakes
  • 150 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 small apple
  • 150 g Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp hazelnuts, chopped
  • 1 tsp honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 8 hours 10 minutes

Mix the oats with the milk and lemon juice in a bowl. Then refrigerate for at least two hours (preferably overnight). Tip: If you like, you can also add a few raisins. In the morning, grate the apple and mix it with the honey and yogurt into the soaked oats. For the grand finale, stir the mixture with the chopped hazelnuts, and your original Bircher muesli is ready. Enjoy!
