Black bread soup with frankfurters

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 ½ liters of water
  • 6 slice(s) farmer’s bread, stale, good
  • 1 tbsp beef broth (extract)
  • 1 tsp parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • pepper
  • 1 pair of sausages (Frankfurter)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Boil the bread in water until very soft. Let it cool and blend finely. Add the spices, beef broth extract, and margarine, and bring back to a boil. Slice the heated sausages and add them to the soup. Serve sprinkled with parsley.
