Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 packs of pudding powder, chocolate
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 2 jars of sour cherries
  • 80 g cornstarch
  • 200 g sugar
  • 4 tbsp cherry brandy
  • 4 cups whipped cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

Mix 1 cup oil, 1 cup sugar, 5 eggs, 3 packets of chocolate pudding powder, 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder, and 1 packet of baking powder together thoroughly for at least 10 minutes. Then spread the mixture onto a deep baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes. Heat the juice from the sour cherries in a saucepan with 200g sugar, 80g cornstarch, and kirsch. Set a few cherries aside for decoration. Add the remaining cherries to the saucepan and bring to a boil briefly. Spread the cherries over the finished base and let cool slightly. Meanwhile, whip 4 cups of cream, then spread it over the cherries and smooth it down. Garnish with cherries. Chill for about 1 hour before serving.
