Raisin Kind's Tomato Apple Chutney

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg tomatoes, fresh (peeled and chopped) or from a can, chopped
  • 200 g apple, peeled and diced
  • 350 g onion(s), cleaned and finely diced
  • 300 g brown sugar
  • 250 g balsamic vinegar, white
  • 1 tbsp salt, level
  • 2 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • 10 grains of allspice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Combine all ingredients in a sufficiently large pot and simmer until thickened. Season to taste, if desired, and pour hot into the prepared twist-off jars. Seal immediately. If there’s not enough liquid, add a little water.
