Blackberry jam with Prosecco

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g blackberries
  • 300 g gelling sugar, 2:1
  • 100 ml Prosecco
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 lemon(s), juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Combine the blackberries and gelling sugar and let it steep for one hour. Add the cinnamon and lemon juice and bring to a boil. Boil gently for 4 minutes. Add the Prosecco a sip at a time while cooking, or stir in after cooking. Skim off any foam and immediately pour into jars. Seal and turn the jars upside down for a few minutes. This amount made three small jars of jam for me.
