- take a plastic bottle and cut off the bottom of it;
- make a few holes in the cork;

- put in the bottle a piece of boiled gauze;
- fill in crushed charcoal to 1/3 of the volume of the bottle;
- put another layer of gauze or cloth on top.
The first few liters of water will have to be drained – so you remove the extra pieces of charcoal, and all the following water can be drunk. Such a filter, of course, can not be called a worthy competitor to factory devices, but it still improves the quality and taste of water.
Is it possible to apply activated charcoal on the face – an effective mask
Facial masks with activated charcoal perfectly cleanse the skin, brighten it, and removes black spots. The miracle remedy will cost you a few hryvnias. The recipe is simple:
- Crush 2 tablets of 250 mg;
- Pour 1 tsp. warm water, stir;
- Add a little honey, sugar, and aloe juice.
The resulting mixture is applied to the face, wait 20 minutes and wash off with warm water. You can make such a mask no more than twice a week – with regular use, you will notice how the skin of the face has become much clearer.
How to use activated charcoal for hair – recommendations
Many stylists recommend the use of activated charcoal for the care of the scalp. Powdered tablets have an exfoliating effect, add volume and help get rid of dandruff.
You can make a mask – crush activated charcoal tablets into powder, apply a small amount to the scalp, leave for 10-15 minutes, and then wash your head as usual. It is also convenient to add a few grams of activated charcoal directly into the shampoo – after two weeks the hair will noticeably transform.
