Blood orange and lime pudding

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 small lime(s), juice
  • 350 ml juice (blood orange)
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 ½ packs of pudding powder, vanilla
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

In a bowl, combine the custard powder with 6 tablespoons of the milk, 3 tablespoons of the blood orange juice, the lime juice, the sugar, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon. Stir until no lumps remain. Bring the remaining milk and blood orange juice to a boil. Once boiling, remove the mixture from the heat and slowly add the stirred custard powder, stirring constantly. Stir well and bring to a boil at least once more. Then pour into cold, rinsed dessert bowls and let cool until ready to serve. Garnish with a slice of blood orange and lime.
