Blood orange jelly – refreshing little dessert

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 8 blood oranges
  • 2 lemons
  • 200 g granulated sugar
  • 110 ml rum or cognac
  • 8 sheets of gelatin

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 6 hours 25 minutes

Sang-sang orange jelly

Squeeze the blood oranges and lemons. We need 650 milliliters of blood orange juice. Strain both juices through a sieve and take 100 milliliters. Heat to 80 degrees Celsius and dissolve the softened gelatin in it. Mix with the remaining juice and the alcohol. Pour into dessert molds and refrigerate until stiff.
