Venetian orange salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 oranges
  • 8 figs, dried
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon, ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 10 minutes

A light winter dessert

Peel the oranges so that no white pith remains, then fillet or slice crosswise into medium-thin slices. Cut the figs into small cubes and add them. Add the sugar and ground cinnamon and mix well. Let it sit in the refrigerator for a few hours (or overnight) and serve chilled. Tip: If you like, you can add a little orange liqueur. Very simple, quick to make, and easy to prepare.
