Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 bagels
  • 1 sprig(s) lemon balm, fresh
  • 200 g double cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup, or honey
  • 50 g blueberries, fresh
  • 150 g sweet cream
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp blueberries, for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the bagels crosswise. Wash the lemon balm and pluck a few leaves for garnish. Mix the cream cheese with the maple syrup until creamy. In a second bowl, mash half of the blueberries with a fork and fold them into the cream cheese along with the whole berries. Whip the cream until semi-stiff, then stir in the vanilla sugar. Whip the cream until stiff. Spread the bagel halves with the cream cheese, top with some whipped cream, and garnish with blueberries and lemon balm.
