Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 125 g sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 eggs, fresh
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 800 g blueberries
  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 125 g flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Hearty farmer’s cake

Gradually mix the batter ingredients and pour into a greased springform pan. Place the (washed) blueberries on the pan. Knead the crumble from equal parts butter, sugar, and flour and cover the blueberries with it. Place the springform pan with this filling in the oven and bake until golden brown. Temperature: 175°C, Baking time: 60 minutes. Decoration: The cake can be decorated with coarse caster sugar. Variations: This batter with crumble also goes well with other fruits, especially berries.
