Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1,000 g blueberries
  • 375 ml water
  • 5 g citric acid
  • 690 g gelling sugar, 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

with whole fruits

Sort the fruit, remove the stems, and wash thoroughly. Bring to a boil with water and gelling sugar and continue to simmer for at least 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the citric acid and immediately ladle the jam into clean, sterilized jars while still hot. Seal tightly with twist-off lids. Turn upside down for 10 minutes, then turn over and let cool. Serve as a spread or with dessert, e.g., vanilla ice cream.
