Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g blueberries
  • 350 g gelling sugar 2:1
  • 1 lemon(s), organic
  • 1 slice(s) of ginger, approx. 0.5 cm thick

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 24 minutes

Mix the blueberries with the gelling sugar. Peel the ginger and press it through a garlic press onto the blueberries. Mix everything with the juice and grated zest of the lemon, lightly press the berries, and let it steep for two hours. Then cook according to the package instructions, test for settling, and pour into jars.
