Blueberry sour cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g blueberries, ready to eat
  • 250 ml sour cream
  • 4 cl liqueur, Schierker Feuerstein (or other herbal liqueur)
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

delicious sauce for steaks or schnitzel

Bring the blueberries, sour cream, and herbal liqueur to a boil. Add lemon juice (also to help dissolve the color) and season with sugar, if desired. The sauce shouldn’t boil too long or overheat, so as not to overcook the fruit.
