Bolognese with mushrooms

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 large onions
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • 2 can/n tomatoes, chunky
  • 200 ml tomato(s), pureed
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • Spice mix (Vegeta)

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

quick, tasty and easy to make yourself!

Peel and dice the onions. Heat a pan with a little fat and sauté the onions until translucent. Add mushrooms, if desired. Then add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Season with salt and pepper. Then add the canned tomatoes. Simmer at low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the tomato paste and the passata. Add to taste, depending on how much sauce you want. Season everything again and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve with pasta or baguette. I’m from Croatia and cook a lot with Vegeta. If you don’t have it on hand, salt and pepper will do.
