Braised Vegetables

The perfect braised vegetables recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 tbsp Peanut oil
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Freshly grated ginger
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Celery
  • 1 Red peppers
  • 1 Green peppers
  • 100 g Soybean sprouts
  • 100 gr Peas
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Hoisin sauce
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1 Cup Poultry broth
  • 100 gr Chinese cabbage fresh
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the grinder
  1. Grind the garlic with salt. Grate the ginger, cut the onions, peppers and celery into fine strips. Cut the Chinese cabbage into thin strips.
  2. Briefly fry the garlic grated with salt and the ginger in hot fat.
  3. Add onions, peppers and celery and fry. Then give the soybean seedlings and the peas underneath for a short sweat
  4. Add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, poultry stock and lemon juice and bring to the boil.
  5. Add the cabbage to taste with salt and pepper.
