Bratwurst balls with noodles

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pieces of bratwurst, fresh, coarse, 150 g each
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 can of tomatoes (425 g)
  • 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 400 ml vegetable stock
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 350 g pasta (spaghetti)
  • 200 g peas (frozen)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, squeeze the sausage meat out of the skin in small portions and fry in the heated oil until golden brown. Add the tomatoes, broth, peas, and ketchup. Season with salt and pepper and simmer over medium heat for about 15 minutes until thickened. Add the cooked spaghetti. Arrange on plates and serve immediately.
