Bratwurst with bell peppers

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 320 g bratwurst
  • 2 onions, red
  • 1 tsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Paprika powder, smoked, mild, sweet
  • 1 pinch of hot paprika powder
  • 1 tsp broth, granulated
  • 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • n. B. Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Heat 1 tablespoon of rapeseed oil in a pan and briefly fry the sausages. Peel the onions and slice them into rings. Add both types of paprika to the onions and mix. Heat 1 tablespoon of rapeseed oil in a saucepan and sauté the onions. Immediately add the tomato paste and powdered sugar and sauté. Dissolve the granulated stock in 100 ml of water and add it. Remove the sausages from the pan and add them. Season with salt, if desired, and simmer for 15 minutes.
