Bread & Buns: Bananas – Citron – Bread
The perfect bread & buns: bananas – citron – bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Flour
- 100 g Cane sugar
- 1 bag Tartar baking powder
- 0,25 tsp Vanilla flavor
- 2 maturity Fresh bananas
- 300 ml Natural yoghurt
- 1 a cup Lemon peel
- Brush oil to shape
- Place the cup of lemon peel on a board, weigh it with a knife and set it aside.
- Put the flour, sugar, baking powder and flavor in a bowl. Put the yoghurt in a blender, add the bananas into pieces (without peel) and mix well, then add the yoghurt-banana mixture and mix everything with the dough hook.
- Shake the finely chopped citron pate, stir well again and pour into a tin that has been brushed with oil.
- Bake at 175 degrees for 60 minutes, then do the cooking test, I then had to cook the bread for another 20 minutes at 160 degrees 😉 Put a pan with water at the bottom for the entire baking time.
- Remove the bread from the mold and let it cool down well. I then wrapped the bread in aluminum foil so that the quite hard surface becomes nice and soft again and is easier to cut.
- Tasting in the afternoon with a good cup of coffee … had some butter and quince jelly on it … very tasty 😉
