  • 500 ml milk, hot
  • 2 tbsp, heaped flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 150 g fried onions
  • 150 g mozzarella, grated
  • 1 bunch parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cut the dry rolls into cubes, pour the hot milk over them, and let stand, covered, for about 10 minutes. Then stir in the remaining ingredients and form the mixture into dumplings. Add the dumplings to simmering (but not boiling) salted water and let stand for about 20 minutes. They’re simply delicious with a roast and plenty of gravy.
