BREAD: Two Kinds of Bread in Ring
The perfect bread: two kinds of bread in ring recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 kg Bread mix for farmer’s bread
- 1 tbsp Jalapeño
- 75 g Sheep cheese
- 8 Olives
- Lovage
- Flour
- We have a grinder nearby that makes great bread mixes. I like to use them. Knead the bread mixture according to the package insert and let rise for 30 minutes. In the meantime, cut the olives, cheese and jalapenos (hot pickled green pods) into small cubes for one portion.
- Chop lovage (about a handful) into small pieces. Line a springform pan with baking paper (or use a silicone mold) and place a heat-resistant glass in the middle. After the walking time, cut the dough in half, spread it well on a floured surface, sprinkle herbs over it, beat in the dough and knead everything thoroughly
- Halve the dough again, shape into balls and place in the mold opposite. Do the same with the second piece of dough, but knead in the cheese mixture instead of the herbs. Now let everything rise in a warm place for 45 minutes. Brush with water. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes at 220 degrees, then 40-50 minutes at 200 degrees fan-assisted.
