Breaded, Fried and Baked Cauliflower

  • 2 Heads Cauliflower
  • 5 Eggs
  • 1 a cup Cream
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 200 g Grated Emmental
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Nutmeg
  • Butter
  1. Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and cook in salted water until it is almost cooked.
  2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the cream, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  3. Put the breadcrumbs in another bowl.
  4. Melt the butter in a large pan.
  5. First turn the cauliflowers in the egg mixture, then turn them in the breadcrumbs and fry them brown in the butter, then put them in a baking dish.
  6. Pour the remaining egg mixture over it, sprinkle with the cheese and bake in the preheated oven for approx. 20 minutes at 220 ° C.
