Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 pork schnitzels
- Salt
- pepper
- 1 egg(s)
- some mineral water
- n. B. Brösel
- n. B. Flour
- 2 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and coarsely grated
- Oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Pound the pork schnitzel, season with salt and pepper. Then coat it in flour, the egg (whipped with salt and mineral water), and breadcrumbs, one after the other. Place the schnitzel in the hot oil. Add the remaining egg from the breading to the grated and squeezed potatoes, mix, and press it onto the schnitzel in the oil. Once one side is well browned, carefully flip it with two spatulas and finish cooking.
