Breakfast porridge with flaxseed

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed
  • 1 tbsp oat flakes
  • 1 banana(s)
  • 10 blueberries
  • ½ apple
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

easily digestible

Peel the banana and mash it with a fork until it forms a paste. Grate half an apple using a coarse grater. For a more digestible breakfast, put the fruit, flaxseed, oats, and milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir regularly to prevent it from burning. Simmer the porridge for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for another 5 minutes (covered if necessary). Finally, stir in the honey and cinnamon and enjoy the porridge warm. If you don’t like your fruit cooked so softly, add it to the porridge after it has boiled. You can, of course, use other fruits too. In summer, for example, I often use strawberries.
