Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 rolls, round, as high as possible
  • ½ bell pepper(s), diced
  • 2 slices of cooked ham
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp parsley or chives
  • 3 tbsp mozzarella or gratin cheese
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 2 pieces of aluminum foil approx. 30 x 30 cm

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cut the roll in half so that the bottom half is 2/3 full. Then hollow out this half. Place a slice of ham on the roll half, simply trimming off a little of the excess. Place the roll half on a piece of aluminum foil. Sprinkle the ham with diced paprika and a little pepper. Crack the egg into the roll and let it slide into the roll. Sprinkle with the herbs. Sprinkle 1 to 2 tablespoons of gratin cheese or mozzarella over the top, carefully replace the lid, and loosely seal the aluminum foil. Bake the rolls in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes, until the egg is set.
