Breakfast soup with bread and fruit

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g mixed bread, dark
  • 4 m.-sized banana(s)
  • 2 large apples
  • 60 g sugar
  • 20 g baking cocoa
  • 15 g almonds, ground
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 50 ml oat milk (oat drink)
  • 1 liter of water
  • some almond flakes for garnishing

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Cut the mixed bread into small cubes. Peel, core, and dice the apples. Peel and slice the bananas. Bring water and oat milk to a boil in a large saucepan and add the bread and fruit. Mix the cocoa powder with the sugar and add it to the boiling fruit along with the ground almonds and cinnamon. Simmer everything over low heat for about 25 minutes. Serve the soup garnished with the almond flakes.
