  • 250 g diced ham
  • 250 g salami, diced
  • 250 g mushrooms, diced
  • 400 g cheese (Gouda)
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 100 g butter, soft
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red, diced
  • salt and pepper
  • Chives, finely chopped
  • Oregano, finely chopped

Briegel (bread rolls) are a special baked good from the Ostalb region (similar to baguette rolls or Seelen), only slightly darker and richer, with a touch of salt and caraway seeds on the crust. Mix all of the listed ingredients (preferably the ham last) with a hand mixer. Spread on Briegel (bread rolls), rolls, flatbread, or similar. Bake in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes at approximately 150-160°C.
