Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 slices of Leberkäse
- 1 small can of tomato paste
- 2 apples, sour
- lemon juice
- 100 g cheese (Emmental or Gouda), grated
- dill
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Spread the Leberkäse with tomato paste and arrange it in a shallow baking dish in a flaky pattern. Coarsely grate the apples and arrange them on top of the Leberkäse. Drizzle with a little lemon juice and sprinkle with cheese. Place the dish in a preheated oven at 225°C (425°F) and bake for about 15 minutes. Serve with baguette and mixed salad. Larger batches also make a perfect party recipe, as it requires minimal preparation.
