Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 700 g plum(s), pitted
  • 700 g fig(s), fresh, peeled
  • 80 ml orange juice
  • 20 ml lemon juice
  • 2 tsp gingerbread spice
  • 500 g gelling sugar, 3:1
  • 1 tsp brown rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes

Pit the plums, trim the ends of the figs, and wash both thoroughly. Puree both fruits in a blender. Mix in the gelling sugar and let stand for 3 hours. Stir in the juice and gingerbread spice and boil briskly for 3 minutes according to the package instructions. Pour the jam into clean, boiled jars. Pour the rum into the lids and seal the jars tightly.
