Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 1 ½ packs of yeast
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g butter, room temperature
  • Lemon(s) peel
  • 100 ml milk
  • Raisins and/or candied fruits
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Combine flour, dry yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Add eggs, butter, milk, and lemon zest and knead. Finally, briefly knead in the raisins and/or candied fruit. Let the dough rise for 30-40 minutes. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius (375 degrees Fahrenheit) and grease a muffin tin well. Divide the dough into 12 portions and fill the muffin tins. Brush with egg yolk and bake for about 25 minutes.
