Ingredients

  • 350 g Cauliflower
  • 350 g Broccoli
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 large Tart apple
  • 3 Sausages
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • Salt, pepper, nutmeg
  • 3 Eggs
  • 125 ml Milk
  • 100 g Grated Gouda cheese
  • Carrots if you like and have some in it 🙂

Instructions

  • Divide the cauliflower and broccoli into small stems and wash. If you add carrots, cut them into slices. Cook the vegetables in boiling salted water for about 8 minutes, then drain well in a sieve.
  • In the meantime, peel the onions and cut them into cubes. Peel, quarter and core the apple and cut across into slices. Also cut the sausages into thicker slices.
  • Heat two tablespoons of oil in a large pan. Fry the sausage slices in it, remove and set aside. Add the remaining oil to the frying fat in the pan and heat. Sauté onion cubes in it, add apple slices and sauté.
  • Add some water and let it boil down a little. Season with salt and pepper and add the sausage slices. Whisk eggs and milk together and season well with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  • Pour cauliflower and broccoli into a large flat dish. Spread the sausage and apple mixture on top and pour the egg milk evenly over it. Sprinkle with cheese and put it in the oven. Bake at 200 ° C for about 30 - 35 minutes. Boiled potatoes or mashed potatoes go well with it
