Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1,000 g broccoli, fresh
  • 1 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 120 g cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seed flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) nutmeg
  • some chili flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 13 minutes; Total time approx. 33 minutes

Low carb and simply delicious

Wash the broccoli and cut into pieces. Use the stems, but peel them first. Boil everything in salted water for about 10-13 minutes. Then drain well in a sieve. Combine the cream cheese, crème fraîche, salt, pepper, nutmeg, chili flakes, and broccoli in a bowl and puree. Add the pumpkin seed flour and whisk to combine. This makes a great substitute for mashed potatoes and goes well with fish and meat.
