Ingredients for 20 servings:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 4 eggs
- 340 g sugar (or less to taste)
- 170 ml oil
- 175 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (instead of 2 tbsp vanilla sugar, correspondingly less sugar)
- Fat, for the shape
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and let it cool briefly. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). In a second bowl, beat the eggs with a hand mixer until frothy, slowly adding the sugar. Continue beating until the mixture is thick and creamy and the sugar has completely dissolved. Stir in the oil and melted chocolate. In a third bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, baking powder, and vanilla powder. Add to the chocolate and egg foam mixture and gently stir by hand until the ingredients form a soft dough. Grease the oven tray or a baking pan (approximately 40 x 28 cm), fill with the batter to a depth of about 3 cm, and smooth it down with a spoon. If your tray is too large, you can divide it with a rim of aluminum foil. Bake in the oven (160°C (fan oven; center) for 20-25 minutes. Let cool, then cut into 5 cm squares.
