Brussels sprouts with bacon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bag of Brussels sprouts
  • salt water
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • some salt and pepper from the mill
  • some nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

quick and easy side dish

Remove the outer leaves and stem from the Brussels sprouts. Then boil in salted water for 7-10 minutes (depending on the size of the florets) until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to prevent the florets from cooking further. Next, cut the bacon into pieces, fry them in a pan without fat until crispy, and then stir in the florets. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
