Czech style

Sift the flour, add the butter flakes, salt, and a little water, and knead everything into a smooth dough. Let it rest in the refrigerator. Then roll out thinly and cut out biscuits using a cookie cutter. Place them on a greased baking sheet and brush with beaten egg. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until golden brown. If desired, sprinkle some caraway seeds over the beaten egg. These biscuits are delicious with beer and wine.
