Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 liter of water, or 1/2 water and 1/2 vegetable broth
- 2 tsp salt
- 100 g rice (long grain rice)
- some butter flakes
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Bring water to a boil and season, add long-grain rice, and simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 150°C. Drain the rice well and spread it in a gratin dish. Sprinkle with butter and place it in the warm oven. Let it dry for about 8-10 minutes, fluffing occasionally with a fork. Delicious with fish or sliced liver.
