Peel and halve the potatoes, wash them, and place them in a microwave-safe container while still dripping wet. Cook at 600 watts for three minutes. Then pour the butter over the potatoes and stir. Sprinkle with 2-3 pinches of sea salt and stir again. Return to the microwave for another three minutes. Pierce them with a fork occasionally; when they fall off easily, they’re done. They’re perfect for grilling in the summer with herb quark or a dip, but also for raclette in the winter. Quick to make and simply delicious. Kids love these potatoes.
