Buttermilk cold soup with fruit

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 1 liter buttermilk (2 cups of 500 ml each)
  • 1 cup of cream, approx. 200 g
  • 1 tsp, heaped cinnamon powder
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • 2 nectarines
  • 3 banana(s), fresh
  • 2 small apples, sour
  • 2 bulb(s)
  • 250 g strawberries

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 30 minutes

Combine buttermilk, cream, lemon juice, cinnamon, and sugar in a large bowl. Wash the fruit. Pit the nectarines. Core the apples. Remove the stems from the strawberries and peel the bananas. Cut everything into bite-sized pieces or cubes. Mix with the buttermilk and refrigerate overnight. Serve the next day. The liquid will thicken well in the refrigerator. You can also use other fruit according to your taste.
