Buttermilk dessert with strawberries

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g buttermilk
  • 200 g strawberries, frozen, thawed
  • 1 tsp sweetener, liquid
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 4 sheets of white gelatin

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Slice the strawberries. Soak the gelatin in cold water. Thoroughly mix the buttermilk with the sweetener, vanilla sugar, and lemon juice. Squeeze out the gelatin well and heat gently in a small saucepan. Remove from the heat and stir in some of the buttermilk. Then stir the gelatin mixture into the remaining buttermilk. Line the bottom of a glass bowl with a few strawberry slices and pour some of the buttermilk over them. Chill for about 10 minutes until the surface has set. Then place more strawberry slices on top and pour over the buttermilk again. Chill for about 10 minutes. Repeat this process until all ingredients are used up.
