Buttermilk waffles for Brussels waffle irons

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 200 ml buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar (or 1 packet)
  • 300 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 150 ml water (maybe a little more)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Beat eggs until frothy, add sugar, vanilla sugar, and buttermilk. Continue beating until the sugar is dissolved. Add flour and baking powder. Mix thoroughly again. Add water as needed to create a creamy, not too runny batter. Let rest for a few minutes, then mix thoroughly again. Bake in batches in the waffle iron.
