Cabbage carbonara with bacon and cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g white cabbage, sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 230 g sour cream
  • 100 g Parmesan, finely grated
  • 12 slice(s) bacon, cut into small pieces
  • 1 tsp pepper

A low-carb version of the famous Spaghetti Carbonara

Finely slice the cabbage using a mandoline or cheese slicer. Heat the butter in a large pan. Add the cabbage to the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes until softened. Then add the sour cream and Parmesan cheese and mix well. Fry the bacon separately. Transfer the cabbage to a plate and top with the cooked bacon. Season with pepper. Nutritional Information: 12 g carbohydrates, 20 g fat, 18 g protein, 295 kcal per serving.
