Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 head of white cabbage (Jaroma)
  • 4 large carrots
  • 2 onions
  • chili pepper(s)
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

with Jaroma cabbage or another type of cabbage

Cut the cabbage into thin strips. Sauté the sliced ​​onion, grated carrots, and diced chili. Add the cabbage and fry until golden brown. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Simmer the cabbage over low heat with the lid closed for about 10 minutes. Stir frequently and add a little water to prevent the cabbage from burning. Mix the tomato paste with a cup of water and pour it over the cabbage. Stir and simmer for another 20-30 minutes.
