Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g dark chocolate, finely chopped
- 100 g unsalted butter (in pieces) plus a little for the springform pan
- 6 large eggs, separated
- 100 g sugar
- powdered sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Butter a 23cm springform pan. Preheat oven to 175°C. Melt the chocolate and butter in the microwave for 30 seconds each, until the mixture is smooth. This can also be done on the stovetop in a double boiler—careful not to overheat. Cool slightly and mix in the egg yolks, one at a time. Beat the egg whites with the sugar until stiff peaks form and mix into the chocolate mixture in 4 portions. Pour into the springform pan, smooth the surface, and bake for 40-50 minutes. Cool, dust with powdered sugar, and serve.
