  • 2 tbsp oil or butter
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder

  • e.g. powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Whisk together the egg, milk, and oil. Combine all the dry ingredients, add them, and beat until the flour is incorporated. The batter may be a little lumpy. Heat the butter or a little oil in a pan and add batter for one pancake at a time. When bubbles form, flip the pancakes before they burst. The other side will cook in half as long. Serve immediately with maple syrup or powdered sugar. This recipe yields 16 pancakes, about 8 cm in diameter.
