Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 1 chicken, cut into pieces or 4 chicken drumsticks
- 1 kg of tomatoes, or 2 large cans of tomatoes (I always use that)
- Oil (olive oil)
- some sugar
- 1 bunch of oregano
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Slice the tomatoes and place half or one can of tomatoes in an ovenproof dish, along with half the oregano, the sugar, and the chicken pieces. Add the tomatoes and oregano to the dish, then drizzle with olive oil. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 40 minutes. Note: Remove the skin from the chicken pieces; this will make the dish much lower in fat.
