Caramelized Mango with Cream Yogurt

The perfect caramelized mango with cream yogurt recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Mango
  • 2 L Raw cane sugar
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt or cream yogurt
  • Possibly honey
  1. Peel the mango, cut into wedges from the stone and dice. Put in a bowl, mix with lime juice and let steep for a few minutes.
  2. Let the raw cane sugar caramelize in a coated pan. When the sugar starts to melt, add the butter and deglaze with orange juice.
  3. Remove the pan from the heat, stir in the mango and heat briefly. Spread on dessert bowls.
  4. Mix Greek or cream yoghurt with a little honey and add 1 tbsp of each to the mango salad.
