Carnival donuts

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g quark
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 125 ml milk
  • 200 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 50 g powdered sugar, 50 g colored sugar sprinkles

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

for a 12-piece donut pan

Preheat oven to 180°C. Whisk together the quark, sugar, vanilla sugar, oil, and milk with a hand mixer. Combine the flour with the baking powder and mix briefly but thoroughly. Grease a 12-inch donut pan. Fill the batter into a piping bag without a nozzle (i.e., a round, open-ended bag) and pipe into the pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly browned, then let cool. Mix the powdered sugar with the lemon juice and place the sprinkles on a plate. Now, one at a time, cover the donuts with glaze and press them into the sprinkles. They taste best fresh!
