Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 6 large carrots
- 1 medium-sized onion(s), diced
- 200 ml sweet cream
- 1 shot of Marsala (sweet dessert wine)
- 1 dash of olive oil

Peel the carrots and slice them fairly thinly. Heat a little olive oil in a medium-sized pan and fry the carrot slices until some of the slices begin to brown and crisp. Then add the diced onion and fry briefly. Deglaze with the cream and add a generous splash of Marsala wine. Cook for a few minutes until the liquid has reduced considerably and reaches a creamy consistency.
