Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 g peas, frozen
  • 1 pinch(s) nutmeg
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • 400 g celeriac
  • 125 ml vegetable broth, instant, hot
  • some parsley for garnishing

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

the best alternative to mashed potatoes

Peel and chop the celery and peas in the hot vegetable broth until almost tender. Drain most of the liquid and puree the vegetables with a hand blender. Stir in the cream and season with salt and nutmeg. Garnish with parsley. Delicious served hot with meat or cold as a spread on bread.
