Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 cardamom pods
  • 1 piece(s) ginger, fresh, thumb-sized
  • 2 large mango(s), ripe
  • 1 liter yogurt (drinking yogurt)
  • 500 ml kefir
  • n. B. Honey

Instructions

Use a blender to prepare the mixture. Remove the seeds from the cardamom pods and crush them if possible before adding them to the blender. Peel the ginger and grate it into the blender using a spice grater. Tip: If you freeze the ginger beforehand, it’s much easier to grate, and the fibers won’t clog the grater. Peel the mangoes and cut the flesh away from the pit. Add the flesh to the blender and whizz it through to blend the ingredients. Pour in the yogurt and kefir until everything is blended. Sweeten with honey if desired. The mangoes should usually provide enough sweetness.
